Aside from horology I am a time served Toolmaker with a Degree and a Masters in engineering.
If I am not repairing a clock I can also support individuals and companies with developing product ideas and prototypes. I have a complete engineering workshop which is more specific to smaller more intricate products. I also have a small injection moulding machine which allows plastic product ideas to be developed for which I also have a strong interest.
I have the capability to design and machine small components. I can currently machine Brass, Aluminum, Steel and plastic. I can also make small plastic mould tools. I also have the capability to mould plastic components from these small tools therefore allowing production runs of small plastic parts. If this is of interest to yourself please email me via my contact page.
If you would like more details on Plastics and Polymers please have a look at my blog as I have given an overview of the versatility of these wonderful materials.
Small Products for industry
I have already developed some products of my own. One of which is shown in the photograph here. This product is currently sold through an industrial catalogue. If you would require anymore information please contact me.
Mechanical Rev Counters & Speedo's
I can now repair mechanical Rev counters and Speedo's. If you have a wobbly needle then give me a shout for an idea of price.
Photo shows a rev counter from a Triumph TR4a that has been rebushed.
If you have a product idea that you would like help with developing or making please send me a mail so we can discuss in more detail.
